  •  This matching campaign gives supporters the opportunity to commit to a monetary amount that they feel comfortable contributing to the agency
  • BBBS Muskoka will fundraise in the community during the second half of the campaign
  • Supporters donate their pledge amount is an equal or greater amount is raised by BBBSM in the community

WHEN?

  • Supporters can select a pledge amount and register for the campaign until February 28, 2022
  • The community donation campaign runs virtually from March 1 to 31, 2022
  • Supporters will make their donation to BBBS Muskoka by April 30, 2022

WHY?

  • Participants have the opportunity to participate in advertising, social media promotion and more – Specific options depend on the supporter level selected!
  • You have the chance to help “double the impact” of funds raised in the community
  • BBBS Muskoka requires about $1,500 per match, per year. That is $30,000 minimum as we average about 20 community-based matches at any one time.
  • Mentees in Muskoka Lakes need support and many other young people in Muskoka Lakes need to know that we are here to help them as a community!

WHERE?

  • BBBS Muskoka will create an event landing page on our agency website and a Matching Campaign page on our Canada Helps profile
  • Participating business will encourage their connections and followings to donate through the Canada Helps website

  • BBBS Muskoka will promote the campaign through boosted social media posts, radio ads, newspaper ads and media interviews

HOW?

  • Organization members sign up to donate a lump sum at a level of their choosing.
  • Businesses/Supporters can sign up by completing the fillable registration form in PDF format or on the BBBSM website
  • At the end of the campaign, each business/donor member will match funds up to the maximum they agreed to match and provide a cheque, cash or e-transfer to BBBS Muskoka April 30, 2022.
