Residents Against Muskoka Poverty
RAMP was a citizens’ group who became increasingly aware that scarcity was a fact of life for many permanent local residents in Muskoka, and that organizations working to help people lift themselves out of poverty needed more attention and support for their important work. RAMP focused on raising this awareness among seasonal residents, but has come to realize that a citizens’ group, with good will but neither budget nor infrastructure, cannot do the heavy lifting required to build the community connection that our partners need to be successful. For this reason, we are pleased to have the Muskoka Community Foundation take over RAMP, knowing that this important work will continue and grow in ways beyond our capacity. Thank you to all our donors and supporters for your help in reaching this moment of evolution. And thank you to the Muskoka Community Foundation for embracing RAMP and making it stronger.
AWARENESS. IMPACT. SUPPORT.
